Gynaecologic Oncology is the management of women with gynaecological cancer, precancer conditions, genetic predisposition to cancer and complex general gynaecological issues.
Gynaecological Oncology was the first recognised sub-specialty of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Holders of the Certificate of Gynaecological Oncology complete a 3 year training program in addition to the 6 year Obstetric and Gynaecology specialty training.
